Antonio Pagliano teaches criminal law procedure at the Department of Law of the University of Campania and is the author of over 30 scientific publications. Since 2012 he has been chairing G.R.A.L.E. research and consulting, the first Italian university spin-off in legal matters, with the aim of studying and advising on the criminal liability of entities pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01, anti-money laundering and anti-corruption. He chairs numerous OdV and has collaborated with the main Italian institutions for the study and diffusion of the culture of legality.

He is member of the Council of the Naples Bar Association since 1999; he has devoted particular attention to the jurisdiction of the European Court of Human Rights.

Since 2021 he has been an Academic Senator as well as the scientific referent of the degree course in Security and Investigation Sciences.

He chairs the board of arbitrators of Confindustria Caserta.
